CYBER-PHYSICAL SYSTEM — DISTRIBUTED SYSTEM OF
INTELLIGENT CONTROL

Introduction. Rapidly developing globalization processes caused the creation of the systems that will ensure the selection of information from the point of its origin, its processing, analysis and transfer on demand to different levels of management in order to develop the necessary control decisions. The fourth industrial revolution highlights the demand for free access to information that can be provided by reliable high-speed communication systems. Internet of Things is the technological basis of the cyber-physical system, which combines the physical processes of production, transport, medicine with embedded systems (encodes, controllers, sensors) for continuous real-time control.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the impact of globalization processes on the development of modern information technologies, which is caused by an increase in the flow of data. The development of information and communication technologies, especially the Internet, create the conditions for ensuring the transfer of data from the point of their origin to the consumers, regardless of its location, which led to the emergence of cyber-physical systems as the basis of a smart economy.

Methods. The applied methods of hierarchical, matrix, situational and network-centric management do not provide effective control in distributed systems with the need to transfer large amounts of data. The necessity of parallel and asynchronous processing of information in the cyber-physical system at the subsidiary level is justified.

Results. The distinctive features of cyber-physical systems from the existing process control systems are indicated.

Conclusion. Subsidiary control in the cyber system in the presence of intelligent nodes in the form of sensors based on intelligent data processing is an intelligent control.
