Volodymyr I. Gritsenko is the director of the International Research and Training Center for Information Technologies and Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. He is Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Science and Technology, USSR State Prize Laureate, Ukraine State Prize Laureate in the field of science and technology twice, Glushkov Prize, he is awarded with the Verhovna Rada of Ukraine diplomas, high governmental awards, the President of Ukraine Award Order of Merit III degree, the professor.

Volodymyr I. Gritsenko is a famous scientist in the field of computer science, intelligent information technologies and systems and their applications in industry, economy, social sphere.

Author of over 400 scientific papers including 19 monographs. He is the editor-in-chief of the journals “Control Systems and Computers” and “Cybernetics and Computer Engineering”, a member of the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO, a member of the Advisory Council on Informatization under the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a commission member of the State Committee for Science and Technology under the President of Ukraine, Chairman of the Technical Committee Standardization of Ukraine “Information Technology”.
